چکیده

In a mining supply chain, products from mines are blended at port terminals to ensure that set of blending targets (such as grade and qualities) achieved. The production scheduling problem each individual mine the for network ports constitute integrated optimisation, which involves modelling material flows mine-side pits port-side stockpiles. Due scale bilinear constraints behaviours, is computationally hard solve by any available optimisers. This paper extends upon decomposition-based algorithm in literature, was first multiple over time periods. our paper, prune routine proposed progressively update mixed integer program during rolling-horizon heuristic. Experiments have shown this extension produces solutions higher quality than original algorithm. Furthermore, ranking-based topological sorting heuristic presented selecting units mineral deposits, known ’blocks’. average computation can be reduced 75.97% when implemented. On top these extensions, an adaptive adopted algorithm, featuring faster convergence solution same time. Comparing results on average, yields improvement 12.67% while reducing 65.09%.

An Integrated Model for a Two-supplier Supply Chain with Uncertainty in the Supply

The objective of this paper is to study an integrated two-supplier supply chain whose suppliers are unreliable. An unreliable supplier is alternative between available (ON) and unavailable (OFF) states which are considered to be independent exponential variables. The suppliers apply a continuous review policy and the retailer uses an adapted continuous review base on an(R,Q) policy. Transportat...

Integrated Production and Transportation Scheduling in Supply Chain Optimisation

In this chapter, an integrated production and transportation scheduling model is proposed. This model is based on multi-item capacitated lot sizing and facility location type models. The objective of the integrated model is to minimize the total production and transportation cost. The integrated model is solved by Lagrangian decomposition method and the decomposed two sub-problems can be solved...

A multi-objective evolutionary approach for integrated production-distribution planning problem in a supply chain network

Integrated production-distribution planning (PDP) is one of the most important approaches in supply chain networks. We consider a supply chain network (SCN) to consist of multi suppliers, plants, distribution centers (DCs), and retailers. A bi-objective mixed integer linear programming model for integrating production-distribution designed here aim to simultaneously minimize total net costs in ...

An integrated Decision-Making Approach for Road Transport Evaluation in a Sustainable Supply Chain

One important step to achieve a sustainable transportation system is to control the impact and evaluate the effect of various influencing factors toward three dimensions of sustainability. Within this context, diverse analytical approaches have been developed to assess the sustainability level of various transportation systems, however, sustainability evaluation based on fuzzy multiple criteria...

Meta-heuristic Algorithms for an Integrated Production-Distribution Planning Problem in a Multi-Objective Supply Chain

In today's globalization, an effective integration of production and distribution plans into a unified framework is crucial for attaining competitive advantage. This paper addresses an integrated multi-product and multi-time period production/distribution planning problem for a two-echelon supply chain subject to the real-world variables and constraints. It is assumed that all transportations a...
